Berry Blast - Red Berry Crumble
Red Berry Crumble(Serves 4)
For the berry filling -
3-4 Tablespoons sugar (modify according to preference or to offset the tartness of the berries)pinchs of saltA dashs of chaat masala
For the topping -
- Mix all of the above, except the walnuts, in the bowl of an electric mixer, fit with a paddle attachment. Mix on low speed until the butter is pea-sized or if mixing by hand, until the mixture is just crumbly.
- Divide the berry filling into individual ramekins or a baking dish. Sprinkle the topping evenly on top of the filling, scatter the chopped walnuts over the topping and bake for 30-35 minutes in a 350 degrees F oven. The tops will be browned crisp and the berry juices might bubble over slightly. Serve immediately.
